Happy July! We hope you took some time to celebrate Independence Day with family and friends, and are enjoying these long summer days. If you are in town next Monday, please join us for our next meeting.
The Democratic Club will meet Monday, July 15, 7-8pm, at the Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad. Our guest speaker will be Delegate Brian Crosby. We'll also be collecting school supplies for the NAACP's Back to School event. Besides monetary donations, they are in need of school supplies (notebooks, paper, pencils, pens, crayons, folders, and book bags for all ages). More information can be found here: https://www.stmarysnaacp.org/back-to-school-fair.html
The Democratic Central Committee is pleased to announce the appointment of Steven Tuttle to fill the vacancy on the committee. We look forward to working together with Steve to help get Democrats elected locally!
Finally, if you are interested in purchasing a St. Mary's Democrats t-shirt, here is our current design that you can order right now! We would like to offer more designs and shirt styles in the near future. Be on the lookout for updates.
See you out there!
We hope your summer is off to a great start.
Thank you to all who attended our Skipjack Gala, supported us with donations, or purchased items at the silent auction! It was a wonderful evening of celebrating Democratic accomplishments and looking toward the work we must do in the coming elections. We raised about $2,000 to help get Democrats elected over the next few years.
The Democratic Club will meet Monday, June 17, 7-8pm, at the Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad. Topics of discussion will include a new women's group, upcoming presidential debates, and even T-shirts! To view the agenda, click here.
We hope you are enjoying the lovely weather. This month we give thanks for the Earth and pledge to protect her for future generations. There are many wonderful outdoor events happening in our St. Mary’s community -- get involved wherever you can!
