St. Mary's County Election Board - Request for Nominations

For the new term, commencing June 2019, candidates for appointments are requested.

Two (2) regular members represent the Democratic Party for a four (4)-year term.

To be eligible for consideration, an individual must be a registered county voter for five (5) years preceding the appointment. In addition, an individual may not hold, or be a candidate for public or political party office. Election board members are also prohibited from taking an active part in political activity.

Please submit your request no later than February 11, 2019.  Names will be submitted to the Governor’s Secretary of Appointments on February 19, 2019.
