Happy New Year! Let's start 2020 with a bang -- join us for the St. Mary's Democratic Club meeting on Monday, January 20 at 7 pm. The location is the upstairs meeting room in the Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad building (next to the library). We'll be hearing from local organizations about their legislative priorities for the Maryland General Assembly this year.

Democratic Central Committee

On Dec. 7, members of the St. Mary's DCC attended a meeting of the State Party, where Yvette Lewis was elected as the new chair. You can read more about her at the MD Dems website. 

The #IAMSTMARYS group for Democratic Women will hold its next meeting on January 8 at the Lexington Park Library. We will meet at 5:30 for conversation and start the meeting at 6 pm. 

The deadline to file for candidacy for the St. Mary's County School Board in the 2020 election is January 24.
