We will also be supporting our service members and veterans in the St. Mary's County Veteran's Day Parade. Our parade is consistently one of the largest Veteran's Day parades in Maryland, and is followed by a wreath-laying ceremony.

We will be meeting between 8:00am and 9:00 am at Leonardtown Middle School (not in Leonardtown Square, the location of the parade). A bus will take you to the parade staging area, where we will line up, and the parade will begin at 10:00am. We expect the parade to end around 12:00pm or so. We would like to request that you wear a blue or white shirt, or you can buy a St. Mary's Democrat's T-shirt here. If you served in one of the Armed Forces, feel free to wear your uniform instead! If you would like to march with us as a candidate, please keep in mind that the parade organizers have requested that nothing be thrown or distributed along the parade route.

If you cannot walk the entire length of the parade, you can still join us at any point while we are walking.
